Gaelic4Girls Programme

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association is delighted to announce details of the 2024 Glenveagh Homes Gaelic4Girls Programme.

Tyrrelstown are delighted to have been one 3 clubs in Dublin chosen to host the Gaelic 4 Girls programme.

The G4G programme targets girls aged between 8-12 years who are not currently playing GAA. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for us in Tyrrelstown to increase participation of girls between the ages of 8-12 years of age.

What are the aims of the Gaelic4Girls Programme?

• To increase the numbers of girls playing Ladies Gaelic football in a club.

• To provide a fun, 10-week program of Ladies Gaelic Football activities to attract girls aged 8-12 to the club.

• To support a club in increasing their number of players and integrate those new players into existing teams.

• To develop athletic and social skills for girls in a safe and nurturing environment.

Swap shop will resume this evening Monday 16th October from 6-9pm on the Astro. Anything that you want to donate or swap will be in a container at the Le Cheile carpark entrance.

There will also be a box of lost property – items which have been left behind at training and matches over the past few months. They will remain in the lost property for 2 weeks then they will be transferred to the Swap shop.
